With a nice ruby-red colour, this Côte-de-Nuits 2020 offers an elegant nose of red berries, such as wild strawberry. With red berries and black fruits notes the mouth is round and the tannins are supple.

2019 Domaine Michel Gros Vosne-Romanee - £99.99 x 1
If you are looking for good value in Vosne-Romanée, you’re on the right track here. It comes from three well-placed parcels, including Aux Réas which extends on from the premier cru, along with La Colombière, and Au Dessus de la Rivière. It is dark and deep, with luscious black cherries on the palate and a smooth, creamy texture. This is a brilliant example of Burgundy’s most highly-prized village.
