The Thomas brothers took over this former Franciscan convent in Brauneberg in 2015, and have brought fresh energy to its Mosel wines. This Riesling comes from 40-year-old vines in Brauneberger Klostergarten, picked for bright acidity and made with spontaneous fermentation. Lemon curd, herbal tea and a whisper of peach lead into a gentle, juicy off-dry finish — refreshing enough for the table, and a very good way to convert a Riesling sceptic.
