A lesser known grape from the region of Muscadet but one that certainly deserves more recognition. Folle Blanche (also called Gros-Plant) is best known as the key varietal in Cognac but when paid proper attention to is a high toned, racy white wine that shows it's bright high acidity and minerality with fresh lemon & lime notes and lots of thirst quenching salinity.
