NV Alfred Gratien Brut Champagne

Alfred Gratien’s signature wine, a complex blend of crunchy apple acidity, lively vinosity and a taut minerality. Principally coming from Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, with 12% Pinot Noir and various Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards. The aroma shows some soft white pear fruit, some spice and the classic bready overtones derived from extended lees ageing. Surprisingly broad flavoured, as a result of the base wines’ barrel ageing, and topped off with a long, elegant, mineral-tinged finish.
