This has to be one of the best new world Shiraz's that I've tasted in a while. It's matured in French oak to add a real depth and complexity to the wine. You get loads of juicy dark fruit on the nose with lovely spices coming through from the oak. These all come through on the palate - a nice spice, the fruit showing itself as cherries and plums, and soft silky tannins.
