New World Chardonnay Mixed Case
£125.00 £156.94

This case consists of one bottle of each of the following wines;

2022 Two Rivers 'Clos de Pierres' Chardonnay, New Zealand - £22.49

The bouquet offers aromas of toasted almonds and Meyer lemon mingled with struck match. On the palate the wine is bright and focused, opening up to layers of stone fruit and lemon curd, over hazelnuts and just a touch of toasted oak. The artisan winemaking approach has resulted in a classic and elegantly textured chardonnay, with natural fruit sweetness, good acidity and a long, pure finish.

2022 Swift Chardonnay, New Zealand - £22.49

The 2022 Chardonnay is fermented naturally under a watchful eye. It’s layered, energetic and fresh — bursting with aromas of ripe stone fruit, juicy citrus, red apple, floral, and a touch of nuttiness. A brilliant acidity carries spice throughout the palate and leaves you with a lightly creamy mouthfeel.

2023 Vondeling Chardonnay, South Africa - £20.99

The wine has a bright hue and a vibrant golden colour. It has a striking nose of sliced pear and peach blossom interwoven with subtle lime and caramelised oats. A full-bodied wine but with excellent palate tension. Crisp apple and chalky citrus are infused with layers of Crème Brulé and roasted almonds. The flavours are refreshing, and the finish refined.

2024 Babylonstoren Chardonnay, South Africa - £27.99

This Chardonnay is beautifully Burgundian in style, with hints of quince, lime and vanilla. These all come through on the palate with a creamy texture to it and an amazing depth of flavour and complexity.

2022 J Lohr Arroyo Vista Chardonnay, California - £30.99

Light straw in colour, the Arroyo Vista Chardonnay exhibits intriguing aromas of Meyer lemon cream, yellow flowers, baked pear, crème brûlée and toasted hazelnuts. The rich palate texture is derived from the use of classic Burgundian techniques, such as primary and malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels and weekly stirring of the lees during aging. The texture is balanced by fresh flavours of apple, pear, and citrus, with a long, sweet oak finish.

2022 Head High Chardonnay, California - £31.99

Head High acts as the second label for Three Sticks and it has some phenomenal fruit sources. Although they don’t disclose where the fruit for the Chardonnay comes from, we do know that it is effectively declassified estate fruit, which means some stellar vineyards are involved. This is a rich, tropical fruit-driven, unoaked style made in a much more precocious style than the single vineyard Chardonnays.
