Burgundy Mixed Case 12 Bottle
The Wine Twit

This case contains two bottle of each of the following wines;
2023 Nuiton Beaunoy Bourgogne Chardonnay - £21.99 a bottle
In the glass, the wine has this bright yellow gold colour to it, on the nose you get the fruit characters of Apples, Pears and a touch of Stone fruit, then from the background you get some gentle floral hints coming through.
2022 Domaine Jean-Marc Pillot Bourgogne Chardonnay 'Haut des Champs' - £36.99 a bottle
Gloriously rich and creamy Chardonnay with a sneaky spine of crushed chalk and zesty citrus acidity for structure and support. Ripe stone fruit, yellow pear, toasted hazelnut, and creamy butter all make their expected appearance here, but so do oodles of crushed chalk and a bare hint of crushed mint. Mouth-coating and long, this is too delicious to not drink now
2022 Domaine Franck Lamargue Auxey-Duresses Les Hauts - £41.99 a bottle
This village is slightly north west of both Chassagne and Puligny, big power wine full of baked apple, candied peel and sweet spices of vanilla, clove and cinnamon. A soft buttery creamy texture with just enough acidity to stop it from being too much.
2022 Bourgogne Cotes Chalonnaise Pinot Noir Buissonnier - £19.99 a bottle
Beautiful ripe raspberry and blackberry scented fruit aromas, it is soft, open and easy drinking in style with layers of fruit, and balanced by a nice freshness that gives the wine elegance and charm.
2021 Domaine Lecheneaut Bourgogne Pinot Noir - £36.99 a bottle
The colour is pale blood red, the nose uplifted, fragrant and highly aromatic, with crunchy red fruits to the fore, supported by a lovely sweetness and sturdy wrap of tannins and fresh acidity.
2019 Domaine Bertrand Ambroise Cote de Nuits Villages - £42.99 a bottle
From a small vineyard at Corgoloin at the southern end of Cote de Nuits. A hedonistic wine full of spicy, cassis fruit. Absolutely delicious, this comes from a vineyard next to the Nuits Premier cru Clos de la Marechale and the quality shows.
