2018 Daniel Chotard Les Cris Sancerre

Coming from the place called Le Champ des Cris, the vines take root in a soil dotted with small limestone rocks locally called Morelle or Cris, and in a subsoil rich in Kimmeridgian marls. This geological particularity is highlighted by respectful work on the soil and the vines. Here the wine reveals itself to be elegant, fine and floral, with a chalky texture on the palate. Vinification and aging in acacia barrels allow us to highlight the qualities of this terroir.
